Metro Betties Scooter Club

The Metro Betties are a group of girls devoted to cruising around town on two 10-inch wheels in 3-inch heels (with appropriate safety gear of course). We were founded in Mobile, AL on the premise that we LOVE (and obsess) about all things scooter related. Sure, we would like to go quicker than our little cc engines will allow, but scooters are just plain cuter than motorcycles; and feeling cute is pretty important. We welcome anyone who shares in our scooter infatuation, so join us for a ride or meetup on the Alabama Gulf Coast or with our newest chapter in the Lehigh Valley, PA/Northwest NJ; or just hang around our forum to chat with other scooter girls.

In Mobile, rides are usually all over the midtown/downtown area. Frequent stops include the Whistle Stop Cafe or Callaghan's Irish Social Club for weekend brunch or Veets and The Bicycle Shop for great drink specials.

As for Lehigh Valley, PA or Northwest NJ rides - I'm still working on some meetup locations. I recently moved to Bethlehem, PA and have been scoping out some locations that would be scooter-friendly.  My suggestions so far would be Our Beerbelly's, Fuddruckers, Johnny's Drive In, or maybe a local pizza place.  If you have any suggestions, post them to the forum.  If you are interested in NW NJ rides, let me know (via the forum) and I can hook you up with other riders.
